Why is my stream appearing in my old account even though I have signed up for a new account by phone?  

    You can try the following steps:

    1) Remove Qik folder from "My Device"

    2)Remove Qik application from Setting > More > Remove Program

    3)Download latest version available 

    4)Log in with new account credentials

   Alternatively, you can try to log out and log in again.   

I have hit "55" but no twitter messages goes out, why is that the case?

   Hit 55 for twitter only apply to Nokia phones, on iPhone, there is "send alert". Twitter alert is not yet available on windows mobile and blackberry,

   users have to set "send all to tweeter" under edit profile on the web site

How can I stream Qik using my Windows Mobile phone?

   To get started, you will need to create an account with Boingo and to download the Boingo app onto your cell      

   phone.  Please visit the url at http://mobile.boingo.com/qik/. Select your cell phone model at the right column and

   click on "download" now. ( See picture below)

    Next, connect your cell phone with your computer and install the app onto your cell phone from the

    computer. Once the app has been installed, you will then need to create an account with Boingo. Go back to

    the website andclick on the sign up button on the right side of the website (See picture below).  

    Boingo has a free 30 days trial which Qik users are able to utilise. Fill in the sign up form and you will be

    able to get your username and password. 

    In the Boingo Wireless hotspot, search for the appropriate wireless network or SSID to connect to. For example,

    the SSID for Starbucks in downtown Redwood City is "attwifi"

   Once connected, open up your mobile browser, and go to "roaming options" -> " other service providers" ->

   and select the "Boingo" logo. You will then be prompted to log in with your Boingo details and you will be 

   connected to the internet. 

   Open up the Boingo application and select  "mange this account" , enter the username and password and your

   Boingo account has been set up on your phone.

   You can now open Qik and start streaming "live" videos onto the internet.
