How do I delete a video?
You can delete a video from either the thumbnail or flash player.
Find the video you want to delete under "My Videos" page. Mouseover the thumbnail of the video to find the delete button.
Or, click the "x" on the left hand side of the flash player to delete the video.
How do I change my Qik username?
After you log in to qik.com, you can go to "settings" -> "profile" to change you username.
How do I stop following someone?
Under "My Friends" tab on your homepage, mouse over the friend you wish to stop following, you will see the "unfollow" button.
How do I block someone from following me?
Under "My Friends" tab on your homepage, press Followers, mouse over the follower you wish to block, you will see "block" button.
Some of my old videos are not playing. Please help.
Please send a support request with links to the non-playing videos. We will try our best to restore them for you.
Can I download Qik videos to my computer?
Download feature is available only to premium members. If you are a premium member, open the video you wish to download from www.qik.com -> My Videos and hit the Download button.
I forgot my username/password. How can I reset it?
Click "forgot password?" at the sign in page and enter your phone number or email address. A new password will be sent to you.
If you signed up using Facebook Connect or Twitter, a password should have been sent to you as a Facebook Notification or Twitter Direct Message.
If you didn't enter your phone number, haven't verified your email address or didn't receive any sms/email for password reset, please send a password reset request through our support form. We will reset the password for you. After you log in using the new password, please go to "Settings" -> "Profile" to change your password and enter/verify your email address so next time you can reset/receive your password through e-mail.
I have signed up for an account but did not receive the activation email.
You can go to "Settings" -> "Profile" after you log in and click "resend verification email".
How do I change password/email address?
You can go to "Settings" -> "Profile" after logging in to change your password and email address. Email address will only be changed after you have verified the new email address.
How do I change the privacy settings for my Qik videos?
You can change the privacy settings for a video from either the thumbnail or flash player.
Find the video under "My Videos" page. Mouseover the thumbnail of the video to reveal the privacy button (a padlock icon).
Or: click the Privacy icon on the left hand side of the flash player change the settings. Once you have set the video to "private", the video can only be viewed by you when you are logged in.
Is there any editing tool for Qik videos?
There is currently no editing tools to edit Qik videos on the website.
How do I change the privacy setting for my location information once I have uploaded a video to my profile page?
You can change the location privacy setting of individual video by clicking the video title. If you want to set the same privacy level for all your future videos, you can go to "My Home" ->"Settings" -> "Profile" to change the default location setting.
How do I change my notification settings?
You can choose how you want to be notified of what's happening on your Qik. Go to "settings" -> "Notifications" to make the changes.
How can I delete my Qik account?
To delete your Qik account, login to http://qik.com from your computer. Then click Settings and then Profile. Then click "Delete Account" and follow the steps.
Can I upload/record videos from my computer or camera to my Qik page?
No. Qik only works on mobile devices.
